Policies


Upon enrolling at Lucy Zelman's Learning Center, all students will be required to read and sign a contract acknowledging their understanding of the Learning Center Rules.  Failure to comply with the objectives set forth by the contract will result in a conference with a parent and possible dismissal from the Learning Center.



Services are to be prepaid monthly.  If a session exceeds the allotted time, an additional charge of $15 per extra half-hour will accrue.  The semi-annual registration/materials fee of $175 is due upon registration. 



To officially cancel a regularly scheduled session, the parent or guardian must notify Lucy Zelman’s office by 6PM the preceding business day.  If we are notified after this time, a service fee of $25 will be assessed.  Tutors are scheduled to work by appointment, and are paid even when the appointment is cancelled.



We accept all major credit cards and personal checks made payable to Lucy Zelman’s Learning Center.
